Update of the Bun-Bun

Nina has been cute as always. I acquired an art board from school (I kinda forgot to bring it back but they had a ton of them so I don't think they'll notice) and one piece to my shelf to keep my door open and to block Nina from going out into the rest of the house. Unfortunately, she's not happy about it and tries her hardest to climb over the board, to not effect. Needless to say, it's cute to watch her stretch up onto her toes to reach the top of the boards. But I thought I'd share these pictures with you all until I get the pictures of her and the boards.

I have finally completed one goal in life- I graduated from college!! So happy to have done so, and my parents were nice enough to throw me a graduation party over the 4th of July weekend. Recieved a ton of graduation cards with money and a present or two. One present (an awesome book on how to draw/paint dragons) came in a big bag with tons of tissue paper in it.
Well, Nina discovered the bag and is thrilled with her new toy.

She was a happy little bunny so I kept the bag. Now she takes the tissue paper and runs around the room with it, jumping in and out of her cage, running under my computer desk, ripping it to shreds. She doesn't eat it though, which is good. At the moment she's sitting ON the bag throwing the paper around ^_^ I'll now have to share a video I took of her to show you how hysterical she has been with this thing.

TV Bunny

"This thing is FASCINATING!"

Nina Loves watching television, which I find so funny coming from a rabbit. I started keeping it on originally for her so she wasn't so lonely, even though rabbits love the quiet. My father kept yelling at me to turn off the TV until I started telling him I left if on for Nina. He told me one night that if he went down the hall and she wasn't looking at it I had to keep it off. So off he goes down the hall to my bedroom, looks in my room and stops. He then turns to me after a minute and goes "...she's actually watching TV" ^_^

Some Down Time

The little furball can't get enough of being out of her cage, and she's quite adorable running around the room. But she also seems to enjoy just being able to lay down outside of her cage, where she has freedom. Her new thing now is that she will lay down in between your hands so long as you continue to pet her. But upon laying down I decided to sit beside her and Justin took this picture:

She's too adorable for words ^^ *cuddles the rabbit*
I definitely want to keep having rabbits as pets. They're too much fun, and theyre not as messy as dogs or cats can be...well, not that i've seen so far ^^

Pay Attention To Me!

I decided to enter an anime contest to win a free trip to a con in California today, and it requires filming a 90 second video. Upon trying to finish the documentary I had started, I had let Nina out. She proceeds to play rin-around-the-rosie until I stopped talking into the camera and it took all my willpower not to burst out laughing the entire time I filmed. You'll see what I mean. No need for audio for this one; it's funnier just watching her:

The Bunny Artist

I was TRYING to finish my sketch, and Nina decided to come "help":

Needless to say, not much got done in the way of sketching >.< At least she tries. Last night Justin and I were playing Magic the trading card game and she wanted to play. This involved taking our cards, sitting on them, stacking them, and sending them flying everywhere. When it was my turn however, she sat in front of me facing Justin, as if to say "I'm gonna defeat you for mommy!" *cuddles* she's just way too adorable for words.

Welcome to The Bunny Blogs!

Hello, and welcome, to the blog about my little baby, Nina! She's a rabbit to be exact. Nina is a Holland Lop Rabbit and was 3 months old when I bought her from a wonderful family in Torrington, CT who breed show rabbits. She came with her own pedigree and her own personality that can't be matched.
Nina has her own home in my bedroom and is happily fed everyday. Her favorite treats are baked croissants that she will rip out of your hand to eat if she can reach. She doesn't like to be picked up unfortunately, but you're able to cuddle with her on the floor. She loves to be pet and loves to give kisses to people. And she loves her mommy :)
This blog is a place to share my joys with Nina to everyone as we go along, from videos to pictures of her cuteness, and I hope you sall enjoy coming to visit the Bunny Blog to see just how adorable and lovable she is.
